Prestige Healthcare Academy, LLC, Certified Nursing Assistant Program is approved by Department of Health Services. In this course, students will learn and provide daily living assistance, bedside care, and basic nursing procedures to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor. Nurse Aide Training will prepare students to provide quality care in hospitals and/or long-term care facilities. If you’re interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, getting your nursing assistant certification is a great way to begin your healthcare career.

During course training, students will learn all aspects of patient care, through lectures, video demonstrations, and hands-on skills demonstration. Certified Nurse Aide Program consist of 59 hours of classroom and lab training and 16 clinical hours. Our Full-Time Nurse Aide Training Program consists of 3 to 4 weeks of training and our Part-Time Nurse Aide Training Program consists of 5 to 6 weeks of training.

In this course, students will learn how to perform CPR, use an AED for adults, children, and infants, and relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. Students who complete CPR and AED will be certified by American Red Cross.
CPR and AED course consists of 4 hours of in-person instruction, which includes videos and hands-on instruction.
In this course, students will learn how to properly use fire extinguishers and recognize fire hazards and ways to prevent fires. Students who complete Fire Safety will be added to CBRF Registry.
The CBRF Fire Safety course consists of 4 Hours of in-person instruction, which includes course material.
In this course, students will learn how to provide basic first aid and learn about their role as a healthcare professional in an event of an emergency. Students who complete First Aid and Chocking will be added to CBRF Registry.
The CBRF Fire Safety course consists of 4 hours of in-person instruction, which includes course material.
In this course, students will learn the necessary skills needed to properly administer medications to residents in long-term care setting. Students who complete medication administration will be added to CBRF Registry.
The CBRF Medication Administration course consists of 14 hours of in-person instruction, which includes skills check-off and course material.
In this course, students will learn how to follow standard precautions to prevent spread of infection when caring for residents. Students who complete standard precaution will be added to CBRF Registry.
The CBRF Standard Precaution course consists of 3 hours of in-person instruction, which includes course material.
In this course, students will learn how to use various durable medical equipment and how to safely transfer ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents.
The Transfer and Ambulation course consists of 3 hours of in-person instruction, which includes skills check- off and course material.
In this course, students will learn about work etiquette when working in healthcare setting.
The Professionalism Training course consists of 2 hours of in-person instruction, which includes course materials.
